The Sri Lanka 10 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2001. It has a color combination of green and brown. Its obverse side features the lion holding a whip sculpture found in Yapahuwa. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and features a painted stork, the Presidential Secretariat building in Colombo, and flowers. Security features include a solid security thread with printed CENTRAL BANK OF SRI LANKA RUPEES TEN and a watermark of a lion holding a whip with an electrotype sword. It is 122 mm x 60 mm and is signed by Kairshasp Nariman Chosky and Amarananda Somasiri Jayawardena. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
