This uncirculated 10 Sri Lankan rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote that is dated 12 January 2001 and signed by Kairshasp Nariman Chosky and Amarananda Somasiri Jayawardena. It is a green and brown note that measures 122 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side portrays the lion holding a whip sculpture found in Yapahuwa. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and features a painted stork, the Presidential Secretariat building in Colombo, and flowers. Security features include a solid security thread with printed CENTRAL BANK OF SRI LANKA RUPEES TEN and a watermark of a lion holding a whip with an electrotype sword.
