The Sri Lanka 100 rupees is part of the family of notes issued in 2006 with latent images on the center bottom of the obverse. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. The front side of the Sri Lanka 100 rupees depicts an ornate urn. Its vertical-oriented reverse side features two rose-ringed parakeet birds, the Sigiriya castle ruins nestled in Matale District, three women picking some tea leaves, and flowers. This 144 x 72 mm paper banknote has a solid security thread that has CENTRAL BANK OF SRI LANKA RUPEES ONE HUNDRED print on it. Its watermark consists of an image of a lion holding a whip with an electrotype sword.
