The Sri Lanka 100 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2019. The orange banknote bears English, Sinhala, and Tamil texts. Its obverse features an autumn leaf butterfly, the Laxapana waterfall, the Norochcholai coal power plant, a Sri Lanka orange-billed babbler bird, and a lion holding a whip with a sword. The reverse depicts a Mridangam drummer and a Bharatanatyam dancer. It also shows a Naga guard stone and a stylized Dvithva liya vela floral motif. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed CBSL RS 100. Its watermark reveals a blabber bird with an electrotype 100 and Cornerstones. The banknote is 138 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Mangala Samaraweera and Indrajit Coomarawamy. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
