This used 2 rupees Sri Lanka note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Ceylon. It is a red note that is dated 1973-1977, bears the signature of Ronald Joseph Godfrey de Mel, and measures 114 × 58 mm. Its obverse side features a statue of King Parakrama. Its reverse side shows the Medirigiriya Vatadage. Security features include an embedded security thread and a watermark of chinze.
