This uncirculated 2 Sri Lankan rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote that is dated 27 August 1974 and signed by Finance Minister Nanayakkarapathirage Martin Perera and Governor Herbert E. Tennekoon. It is a brown, violet, and green banknote that measures 114 mm x 58 mm. Its obverse side features the statue of the Parakramabahu the Great in Polonnaruwa. Its reverse side shows the lotus stem pillars of Medirigiriya vatadage. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of a lion holding a whip.
