This uncirculated 50 Sri Lankan rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. It is a blue and green banknote that is dated 03 July 2006, bear the signatures of Mahinda Rajapaksa and Ajith Nivard Cabraal, and measures 136 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side depicts a Kandyan dancer with an ornate headdress. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows butterflies, a shield, an ornamental sword, and the Jetavana and Thuparama stupas in Anuradhapura.
