Reviews:

The Sri Lanka 50 Rupees Banknote was released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2010. The banknote is predominantly blue and green. The obverse of the paper bill features a blue oakleaf butterfly, an ancient stone arch railway bridge with a train, an old steel bridge, a new concrete automobile bridge at Manampitiya, a Sri Lanka dull blue flycatcher bird, and a lion holding a whip with a sword. On the reverse are Yakbera drummer and a Vadiga Patuna dancer, a guard stone with the pot of plenty which is a symbol of prosperity, and a stylized liya vela floral motif. The paper bill contains a solid security thread with printed CBSL RS 50 and a watermark that reflects a flycather bird with an electrotype 50 and Cornerstones. It measures 133 x 67 mm and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, this particular paper bill has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
