Reviews:

The Sri Lanka 50 Rupees Banknote was released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2010 in a combination of blue and green. Its obverse features a blue oakleaf butterfly, an ancient stone arch railway bridge with a train, an old steel bridge, a new concrete automobile bridge at Manampitiya, a Sri Lanka dull blue flycatcher bird, and a lion holding a whip with a sword. The reverse of the note depicts a Yakbera drummer and a Vadiga Patuna dancer, a guard stone with the pot of plenty which is a symbol of prosperity, and a stylized liya vela floral motif. The banknote bears a solid security thread with printed CBL RS 50. It also contains a watermark that reveals a flycatcher bird with an electrotype 50 and Cornerstones. It is 133 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
