This uncirculated 500 Sri Lankan rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. It is a multicolor banknote that is dated 19 November 2005, bears the signatures of Mahinda Rajapaksa and Sunil Mendis, and measures 150 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features a Kandyan dancer and two male drummers. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and depicts a stork-billed kingfisher with a fish in its beak, the Ruwanwelisaya stupa and lotus stem pillars in Anuradhapura, and orchids.
