The Sri Lanka 500 Rupee banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2005. This multicolored banknote features a Kandyan dancer and two male drummers on its obverse. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a Stork-billed kingfisher with a fish in its beak, a Ruwanwelisaya stupa and lotus stem pillars in Anuradhapura, and orchids. The paper bill measures 150 x 75 mm and bears security thread and watermark varieties. This Sri Lanka 500 Rupee banknote is in uncirculated condition.
