The St. Helena 5 Pounds Banknote was issued by the Government of Saint Helena in 1981. This blue banknote features Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse. It also shows a sea-level view of sailing ships in Jamestown harbor. The reverse displays the coat of arms of the East India Company with lions, flags, and a shield. To the right is the Saint Helena crest represented by a sailing ship. The banknote has a solid security thread. The note is 151 x 73 mm in size and is signed by Philip Edward Aldous, Simon Gillett, and George Carter Lawrence. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and bears a radar serial number. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
