St. Helena 5 Pounds Banknote, 1998 ND, P-11, PMG 66

The Saint Helena 5 Pound banknote was issued by the Government of Saint Helena in 1998. The obverse of the blue banknote features sailing ships in Jamestown harbor and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse of the note depicts the emblem of the East India Company illustrating lions, flags, and a shield. It also displays the arms of St. Helena reflecting a ship. The 134 x 70 mm paper bill bears a solid security thread. The banknote was printed by De La Rue and carries the signatures of Michael John Clancy, Matthew Young, Ethel Caroline Yon, and Desmond Harold Wade. This particular Saint Helena 5 Pound banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
