The St Thomas and Prince 100,000 Dobra banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Sao Tome and Principe in 2013. The banknote has color combinations of light blue, green, and dark red. Featured on its obverse are the lines from the poem titled In Coracao em Africa or Courage in Africa. It also shows a papagaio cinza, leaves, the coat of arms of Saint Thomas and Principe, a compass rose, a portrait of Francisco Jose Tenreiro, and a silver foil open book. The banknotes reverse depicts men in costumes with shields in front of a monument, celebrating Auto de Floripes in Santo Antonio city on the island of Principe. The banknote comes with two solid security threads, with one thread having a demetalized BCSTP and a watermark that reflects Rei Amador. Printed by DE LA RUE, the 150 x 67 mm banknote bears the signatures of Helio Silva Vaz de Almeida and Mario do Carmo Trovoada Pires de Carvalho Silveira. This paper bill comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
