St. Thomas & Prince 20 Dobras Banknote, 2016, P-72, UNC

The St. Thomas & Prince 20 Dobras Banknote was issued by the Central bank of Sao Tome and Principe in 2016. The green banknote bears Portuguese text. Its obverse features the Banco Central headquarters building in Sao Tome, a charaxes barnsi butterfly, and the coat of arms of Sao Tome and Principe. The reverse depicts a stylized cocoa pod, a butterfly, and a map of Sao Tome and Principe. It also features a Sao Tome giant tree frog clutching a branch. The note contains a red-to-green windowed security thread with a demetallized BCSTP. Its watermark reveals Rei Amador and an electrotype butterfly. It is 140 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Americo de Oliveira dos Ramos and Helio Silva Vaz de Almeida. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
