The St. Thomas & Prince 5,000 Dobras Banknote was issued by the Banco de Sao Tome & Principe in 2004. It has a color combination of purple, green, and orange. Its obverse side contains Portuguese text, a papa figo bird, the national emblem, and the leader of the slave rebellion Rei Amador. Its reverse side shows a view of the Agostinho Neto plantation hospital and bridge. Security features include a solid security thread, another solid security thread with demetalized BCSTP, and a watermark of Rei Amador. The banknote is 131 mm x 67 mm in size and is signed by Eugenio Lourenco Soares and Maria do Carmo Trovoada Pires de Carvalho Silveira. This particular note is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
