St. Thomas & Prince 5 Dobras Banknote, 2020, P-76, UNC

The St. Thomas & Prince 5 Dobras Banknote was issued by the Central bank of Sao Tome and Principe in 2020. The purple banknote bears Portuguese text. Its obverse features the Banco Central headquarters building in Sao Tome, an acraea insularis butterfly, and the coat of arms of Sao Tome and Principe. The reverse depicts a stylized cocoa pod, butterflies, and a map of Sao Tome and Principe. The note does not contain a security thread and its watermark reveals Rei Amador, an electrotype butterfly, and Cornerstones. It is 130 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Americo Cardoso Soares de Barros and Osvaldo Tavares dos Santos Vaz. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
