Its obverse depicts a conobia bird, the country’s arms, and a picture of Rei Amador facing left. The reverse of the note highlights the Banco Central de Sao Tome e Principe headquarters building. Printed by Thomas De La Rue Limited, the 150 x 67 mm paper bill bears a watermark that reveals Rei Amador. It also carries the signatures of Americo de Oliveira dos Ramos and Luis Fernando Moreira de Sousa.
