This banknote set comes with 6 pieces of Strausberg 1/2 Mark notgeld banknotes issued in 1921 by the City of Strausberg in Brandenburg. Featured on their obverse design is the coat of arms of Strausberg depicting an ostrich with a shield that reflects a red eagle in its beak. The reverse of these banknotes depicts various city scenes and illustrations of its history. These emergency paper bills bear a Hermann tuning fork pattern as a watermark. Banknotes from this collection are in uncirculated condition.
