This uncirculated 1 Sudanese pound banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Sudan in 2006. It is a light brown banknote that bears the signature of Sabir Mohammed Hassan and measures 139 mm x 64 mm. Its obverse side shows a peace theme with a dove in flight above a map, the Central Bank of Sudan headquarters building, a drum, and a map. Its reverse side displays the bank logo, two doves in flight, and a sunflower. Security features include a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS1 and Arabic text, a sunflower registration device, and a watermark of a pigeon with an electrotype LS 1.
