This 1,000 Surinamese gulden is the largest denomination in the 1963 family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Suriname. It is dated 1 September 1963 and signed by President Victor Max de Miranda. It has brown and blue colors and dimensions of 152 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side features a womans head, a torch with the 1963 banner, and fruit and vegetables. Its reverse side features the coat of arms of Suriname and a banner with Latin text. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a parrots head watermark. This note is in uncirculated condition and its features have been TAP (Trust. Authenticate. Protect) Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
