The Suriname 100 Gulden Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Suriname in 1986. It has a color combination of purple, orange, and red and bears Dutch text. The obverse features buildings, flags, faya lobi flowers, a star, 5 soldiers soldiers with rifles, a woman with a flag, and a portrait of Anton de Kom. The reverse depicts a toucan on a branch, a hibiscus, a heliconia, ginger, and faya lobu flowers. It also shows a crowd listening to Anton de Kom outside his father's house on 1 february 1933. The note does not contain a security thread but bears a watermark that reveals a toucan. It is 150 x 72 mm in size and is signed by Hendrik Henk Otmar Goedschalk. This particular banknote has a radar serial number and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
