The Suriname 100 Gulden banknote is part of the 2000 issues. It is red, violet, blue, and orange in color and measures 140 x 70 mm. The obverse side shows nymphalid butterflies, a long-tailed hermit bird or Phaethornis superciliosus, the coat of arms of Suriname, a map, and trees. The reverse side features the Central Bank of Suriname headquarters building which is located at the Waterkant in Paramaribo, plumeria rubra or red frangipani flowers, and the bank seal. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBVS 100 and contains a watermark with a bank headquarters and an electrotype CBVS 100 design. It is graded 67 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
