The Suriname 25 Gulden banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Suriname in 1996. The banknote comes with green, orange, yellow, and red color schemes. Centered on its obverse is the Central Bank of Suriname headquarters building situated at the Waterkant in Paramaribo. The front side of the note also depicts two track runners and a hibiscus flower. The reverse features a toucan sitting on a tree branch, hibiscus flowers, the coat of arms of Suriname, and 1998 Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Neste swimming the butterfly stroke. The 147 x 68 mm paper bill was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited and a watermark that reveals a toucan. It also has a solid security thread. This particular Suriname 25 Gulden banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
