The Suriname 25 Gulden banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Suriname in 1996, bearing color combinations of green, orange, red, and yellow. The banknotes obverse two track athletes, the Central Bank of Suriname headquarters building located at the Waterkant n Paramaribo, and a hibiscus flower. The reverse of the note features a toucan on a tree branch, hibiscus flowers, the nations coat of arms, and 1988 Olympic champion Anthony Neste doing the butterfly stroke. The banknote comes with a solid security thread and a solid serial number. It also has a watermark that reflects a toucan. The banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
