The Suriname 25 Gulden banknote was released by the Central Bank van Suriname in 1996. The banknote comes with green, orange, yellow, and red combinations. Its obverse portrays the Central Bank of Suriname headquarters building situated at the Waterkant in Paramaribo, two track runners, and a hibiscus flower. The reverse of the note depicts a toucan sitting on a tree branch, hibiscus flowers, the coat of arms of Suriname, and 1998 Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Neste swimming the butterfly stroke. Printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited, the banknote is 147 x 68 mm in size and carries a watermark that reveals a toucan. Additionally, it has a solid security thread. This particular Suriname 25 Gulden banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
