The Suriname 25 Gulden Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Suriname in 1998. It has a color combination of green, orange, red, and yellow. Its obverse features the Central Bank van Suriname headquarters building at the Waterkant in Paramaribo. It also shows two track runners and a hibiscus flower. The reverse depicts a toucan on a branch, the coat of arms of Suriname, and hibiscus flowers. It also displays 1988 Olympic gold medalist Anthony Neste swimming the butterfly stroke. The note contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals a toucan. The note is 147 x 68 mm in size and is signed by Hendrik “Henk” Otmar Goedschalk. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
