The Suriname 25 gulden banknote is part of the banknote series issued in 2000. Its obverse bears the Rhamphastos tucanus bird which is commonly known as a white-throated toucan bird. Nymphalid butterflies, a map, trees, and the National Emblem of Suriname are also presented on the notes obverse. Additionally, it displays a praying mantis insect as the notes registration device. The back of the note features Couroupita guianensis flowers that are also known as ayahuma or cannonball tree flowers. The Central bank seal is also visible. This banknote has a windowed security thread with demetalized CBVS 25. Furthermore, its watermarks consist of an image of the bank headquarters and an electrotype CBVS. This paper bill measures 140 x 70 mm. This Suriname 25 Gulden banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
