This uncirculated 250 Surinamese gulden banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Suriname. It is an aqua, orange, and brown banknote that is dated 9 January 1988, bears the signature of Henk Goedschalk, and measures 150 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side shows buildings, flags, a portrait of Anton de Kom, a bouquet of faya lobi flowers, a star, five soldiers with rifles, and a woman with a flag. Its reverse side depicts a crowd listening to Anton de Kom outside of his father’s house, a toucan on a branch, hibiscus flowers, heliconia flowers, ginger flowers, and faya lobi flowers.
