Reviews:

The Suriname 250 Gulden Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Suriname in 1988. It has a color combination of aqua, orange, and brown. its obverse features buildings, flags, faya lobi flowers, a star, five soldiers with rifles, and a woman with a flag. It also displays a portrait of anti-colonialist author Anton de Kom. The reverse depicts a toucan on a branch, a hibiscus, a heliconia, ginger, and faya lobi flowers. It also illustrates a crowd listening to Anton de Kom outside his father's house on February 1, 1933. The note has no security thread, however, it has a watermark that reveals a toucan. The note is 150 x 72 mm in size and is signed by the central bank President Henk O. Goedschalk. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
