Reviews:

The Suriname 5,000 Gulden banknote was issued by the Central Bank van Suriname in 1999. Featured on the obverse is the bank headquarters building located at the Waterkant in Paramaribo, a toucan in gold foil, and a flower. The banknotes reverse depicts a long-billed gnatwren bird sitting on a tree branch, the national emblem, mechanized banana harvesting, and the bank seal. The banknote is 147 x 68 mm in size and was printed by Thomas De La Rue and Company Limited. It carries a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBVS. It also has a watermark that reveals a toucan and an electrotype CBVS. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
