This uncirculated 5,000 Surinamese guilder note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank van Suriname to address inflation. It is a yellow note that is dated 1 February 1999, bears the signature of President Henk O. Goedschalk, and measures 147 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side features the Central Bank headquarters in Paramaribo, a flower, and a toucan in gold foil. Its reverse side shows a long-billed gnatwren bird, the national emblem, a depiction of mechanized banana harvesting, and the bank logo.
