The Suriname 5 Gulden Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Suriname in 1982. It comes in a color combination of blue, violet, and green. Featured on the obverse of the banknote is the monument of five soldiers with rifles. It also depicts a woman with a flag and the date 25 FEBRUARI 1980. The reverse of the note features the Presidential Palace in Paramaribo. This banknote does not have a security thread but it has a watermark that reveals a parrot’s head. It measures 152 x 66 mm. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
