This banknote album contains 50 Surinamese dollar banknote that was issued by the Central Bank of Suriname in 2012. The 50 Surinamese dollar banknote commemorates the Central Bank’s 55th anniversary. It is a brown and green banknote that is dated 01 April 2012, bears the signature of President Gillmore Hoefdraad, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms, a LOOK CB-serial number, the Central Bank of Suriname headquarters building, a bougainvillea flower, the bank logo, and a SPOT patch. Its reverse side depicts businessmen in a conference, the names and terms of service of bank presidents, and the bank’s mission statement. Security features include a LEAD holographic stripe with a bougainvillea flower, bank logo, and 50, a RollingStar magenta-to-green windowed security thread with a demetalized SRD, and a watermark that shows the bank headquarters and an electrotype CBvS.
