The Swaziland 10 Emalangeni is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Swaziland in 2014 using intaglio halftone technology. The obverse of the note features a picture of King Mswati III, the coat of arms of Swaziland depicting a lion and elephants flanking the shield with a crown of feathers. It also displays a shield, spears, and a staff. Featured on the back of the note are nine princesses participating in the Ncwala or a kingship ceremony, and the bank logo. The 148 x 70 mm paper bill bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized CENTRAL BANK OF SWAZILAND and a watermark that reflects King Mswati III and an electrotype 10. The banknote was printed by Giesecke & Devrient using hybrid substrate. This particular paper bill has been given a grade 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
