The Swaziland 100 Emalangeni banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Swaziland in 2008 to commemorate the 40th birthday of King Mswati III and the country's 40th anniversary of independence. The banknotes obverse features the King's portrait, the Parliament House building in Lobamba, and the coat of arms of Swaziland consisting of a lion and elephants flanking the shield with a crown of feathers. The reverse of the note depicts the bank seal and a rock formation. The paper bill is 157x 70 mm in size and bears a solid security thread with a demetalized CENTRAL BANK OF SWAZILAND. Additionally, the note has a holographic stripe, a watermark that shows a shield and spears, and the signatures of Majozi Vincent Sithole and Martin Dlamini. This particular commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
