The Swaziland 50 Emalangeni banknote is part of the family of notes released by the Central Bank of Swaziland in 2001. The banknotes obverse design consists of a portrait of King Mswati III, the Parliament House building in Lobamba, and the coat of arms of Swaziland depicting a lion and elephants flanking the shield with a crown of feathers or lidlabe. The back of the note displays the Central Bank of Swaziland headquarters building and the bank logo. The paper bill is 152 x 70 mm in size and has a windowed security thread with a demetalized CENTRAL BANK OF SWAZILAND, a holographic stripe, a registration device reflecting a shield and spears, and a watermark that reveals a shield and spears. Additionally, the paper bill carries the signatures of Majozi Vincent Sithole and Martin Dlamini. This particular Swaziland 50 Emalangeni banknote has been graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
