Reviews:

The Sweden 1,000 Kronor Banknote was issued by the Sveriges Riksbank between 1989 and 1992. It has a color combination of brown, green, blue, red, orange, and purple. Its obverse side shows rings that symbolize the atmospheric phenomenon of 20 April 1536, a microprinted quote by King Gustav Vasa saying “SCRIPTURAM IN PROPRIA HABEANT LINGUA” (Let them have the holy scripture in their own language), a parhelion painting of Stockholm, and a portrait of King Gustav Vasa by Cornelius Arentz. Its reverse side depicts a scene from the 1555 book “Historia de Gentibus Septentrionalibus” (History of the Northern People) by Olaus Magnus that shows farmers with scythes gathering and threshing grain. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of King Gustav Vasa. It is 160 mm x 82 mm in size and bears the signatures of Per Borg and Bengt Dennis. This particular banknote is in used condition and has been TAP authenticated.
