Sweden 1,000 Kronor Banknote, 2015 ND, P-74, UNC

The Sweden 1,000 Kronor Banknote was issued by the Sveriges Riksbank in 2015. This gray-brown banknote features UN Secretary-General and Member of the Swedish Academy, Dag Hammarskjold on its obverse. It also shows three crowns, the United Nations seal, and an olive branch and a leaf in gold-to-green SPARK. The reverse depicts mountains in Lappland, which is an area of natural beauty of great interest to Dag Hammarskjold. It also shows flowers and a map of Sweden. It contains a Motion windowed security thread with a crown and KR. It also has a solid security thread, a registration device in the form of the denomination, and a watermark that reveals Dag Hammarskjold and an electrotype 1000. The note is 154 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Johan Gernandt and Stefan Ingves. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
