Reviews:

This uncirculated 100 Swedish krone banknote was introduced by the Sveriges Riksbank in 2001. It is dated 2002 and bears the signatures of Sven Hulterstrom and Urban Backstrom. The note was withdrawn by the Sveriges Riksbank in 2017. The green, blue, purple, and red note measures 140 mm long and 72 mm wide. Its obverse side honors Carl von Linne, also known as Carolus Linnaeus, the Father of Taxonomy, by showing two pollinating plants, an image of the Linnaeus garden in Uppsala, Alexander Roslin’s portrait of Linnaeus, and micro-printing of Linnaeus’ motto “OMNIA MIRARI ETIAM TRITISSIMA” (Find wonder in all things, even the most commonplace). Its reverse side features a stylized image of the fertilization of a flower by a bee and an image of a flower from the viewpoint of a bee. Security features include a holographic stripe, Omron rings, a solid security thread with demetalized 100 KRONOR, and a watermark of Carolus Linnaeus with an electrotype 100. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
