This uncirculated 20 Swedish kronor note is a standard circulation banknote issued by Sveriges Riksbank. It is a blue note that is dated 1994, bear the signatures of Staffan Burenstam Linder and Urban Backstrom, and measures 130 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the introduction to “Gosta Berling’s Saga”, a horse and carriage, the Varmland landscape, and a portrait of Nobel Prize winner Selma Lagerlof. Its reverse side shows a scene from “Nils Holgersson’s Wonderful Journey through Sweden” with Nils and Marten geese flying over the flatlands of Skane. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of a Selma Lagerlof pattern. The note was demonetized in 2006.
