The Sweden 5 Kronor banknote is part of the 1963-1990 series which added plate position characters to the right side of the year above the prefix and serial number at lower left portion of the obverse sides. Also featured on the front is Jakob Bincks painting of King Gustav Vasa. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows an artistic image of a Western capercaillie, also known as a woodland grouse, one of the largest birds native to Sweden. The banknote measures 110 x 68 mm, has shades of green, purple, orange, and red, and is graded 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
