The 5 Swedish kronor, demonetized in 1998, is part of the 1963 series, whose notes have plate position characters at the lower left corner of the obverse side. The obverse side of the note features a painting of King Gustav Vasa by Jakob Binck. The reverse side features stylized images of a woodland grouse and a spruce tree. The note does not have a security thread. However, it has a watermark of a 5 pattern. The note is 110 mm long and 68 mm wide.
