The Sweden 50 Kronor Banknote was issued by the Sveriges Riksbank in 2003. It has a color combination of yellow, pink, green, red, purple, and blue. Its obverse features musical notes from Vincenzo Bellini opera “Norma” singer Jenny Lind. It also shows roses, Carl Fredrik Adelcrantz’s drawing of Stockholm’s old opera house, a microprinted code from composer Arnold Schoenberg. The reverse depicts a silver harp and its tonal range, an excerpt from the score of Sven-David Sandstrom’s “Pictures for percussion and Orchestra”, and a stylized Swedish landscape. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals a Jenny Lind pattern. It is 120 x 77 mm in size and is signed by Jan Bergqvist and Lars Heikensten. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
