Its obverse features the first building of the Riksbank in Jarntorget in Stockholm, a microprinting of the bank motto, and David Klocker Ehrenstrahls depiction of King Karl XI. The back of the note displays engineer Christopher Polhem, the Falu copper mine with Polhems ore gathering plants, a gear wheel from the engineers industrial plant in Dalarna, and mathematical computations taken from one of his notebooks. The banknote is 150 x 82 mm in size and bears a holographic stripe. Additionally, it has a solid security thread with a demetalized 500 KRONOR. It also has a watermark that reflects Karl XI and an electrotype 500. This particular Sweden 500 Kronor banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
