Sweden 500 Kronor Banknote, 2016 ND, P-73a.2, UNC

The Sweden 500 Kronor Banknote was issued by Sveriges Riksbank in 2016. This red banknote features singer Birgit Nilsson on the obverse. It also shows three crowns, standing singers, and a musical note in gold-to-green SPARK. The reverse depicts Oresundsbron bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden in Skane, where Birgit Nilsson grew up. Also on the reverse are flowers and the map of Sweden. The note’s security features include a Motion windowed security thread with a crown and KR, a solid security thread, a registration device in the form of the denomination, and a watermark that reveals Birgit Nilsson and an electric type 500. The note is 147 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Susanne Eberstein and Stefan Ingves. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
