Reviews:

This uncirculated 1,000 Swiss franc banknote is a standard circulation note that is dated 2017 and signed by President of the Swiss National Bank Jean Studer and Director Andrea Maechler. It is part of the 9th series of banknotes issued by the Swiss National Bank that was designed by Manuela Pfrunder, had the theme “The Many Facets of Switzerland”, and won the 2019 “Best New Banknote Series” award at the High-Security Printing EMEA Conference in Malta. The purple note is made of a Durasafe composite, is vertically oriented on both sides, and measures 158 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side contains a depiction of a handshake, the Swiss cross, and the phonetic alphabet over the globe in gold SPARK. Its reverse side depicts the parliament, an abstract design of open networks, a holographic security stripe with 1000, and an abstract map of the language regions of Switzerland, the neighboring countries, and the names of Swiss cantons. Other security features include a windowed security thread with the demetalized Swiss flag and 1000, a watermark of the Swiss flag and globe, and a multicolored Swiss flag registration device.
