This uncirculated 20 Swiss franc banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Swiss National Bank as part of its 6th series. It is a blue banknote that is dated 1992, bear the signatures of Peter Gerber and Jean Zwahlen, and measures 148 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the geologist Horace-Benedict de Saussure. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and depicts a mountain range, a group of Alpinists, and the Ammonshorn. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Horace-Benedict de Saussure. The banknote was demonetized in 2020.
