This uncirculated 50 Swiss franc banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Swiss National Bank in 1988. It is a green banknote that bear the signatures of Dr. Francois Schaller and Dr. Hans Meyer and measures 159 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side honors the universal scholar Konrad Gessner. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows an eagle owl, primula, and stars. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Konrad Gessner. The banknote was demonetized in 2020.
