Taiwan 2,000 Yuan Banknote, 2001, P-1995, UNC

The Taiwan 2,000 Yuan Banknote was issued by the Central Bank in 2001. It has a color combination of purple, pink, and blue. Its obverse depicts modern buildings, a FORMOSAT-1 satellite, satellite communication dishes, and a rocket. The reverse depicts two Formosan salmon fish with Mount Nanhu in the background, and pine branches. The note contains a windowed security thread with demetallized 2000. It also has a watermark that reveals a pine frond and an electrotype 2000. The banknote is 165 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
